1971 Plymouth 'Cuda Conquers Pikes Peak! - HOT ROD Unlimited Episode 16

On this episode of HOT ROD Unlimited, HOT ROD magazine heads to Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs for the 90th running of the world's most famous mountain race; the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb.
The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC), also known as The Race to the Clouds, is an annual automobile and motorcycle hillclimb to the summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado. The track measures 12.42 miles (19.99 km) over 156 turns, climbing 4,720 ft (1,440 m) from the start at Mile 7 on Pikes Peak Highway, to the finish at 14,110 ft (4,300 m), on grades averaging 7%.[1] It used to consist of both gravel and paved sections, however as of August 2011, the highway is fully paved and as a result all subsequent runnings will be on tarmac from start to finish.

We follow Jess Neal and Morgan Combes as they attempt to make it to the top of the treacherous 12.5 mile course in a 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda.

Burnout Fest! 2013 Shelby GT500 and 2012 Camaro ZL1 Road Trip - HOT ROD ...

On this episode of HOT ROD Unlimited, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan hit the road in the hottest new muscle cars, the 2013 Shelby GT500 and the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. This isn't a serious performance comparison, but a look at how two muscle car guys view the pros and cons of each car while thrashing them on the street and strip like you might if you really owned 'em. But you probably wouldn't do as many burnouts and donuts as these guys, because you'd be replacing tires every week. Watch this and make the call: which car would YOU buy?
